Thought it would be nice to try and combine Sid from Ice Age, Happy Feet & Pharrell videos together. I tried make it as smooth as possible , but I think there is one or two hiccups because I used the fade out gradually for the end of my video. I heard a sound while I was doing it, land before I uploaded it. Now that it is published, there is no sound. :(. I am not too happy about that, but overall, I did my best especially after the challenging weeks I have had.
I know now I can practice without feeling stressed to be better at what I have started. This class was very stressful for me. So I figured I would do my final project on a happy note, with the two movies I think are so adorable and one of my favorite songs Happy. 🙂
I thought this picture was so adorable, this picture was sent to me a while ago in an email. I am not sure where the person got it from. I decided to see if I could come up with some kind of image with it. I decided to make a two way photo of the boy looking opposite ways and make one part look like an art photo.

Then I clicked on color look up under the adjustment tab
Every time I watch this video it reminds me of a younger cousin I have. Every time her niece asks her for money, The next day she calls her on the phone and say ” You Have My Money.” I don’t understand why her niece always want to borrow money from her and gets annoyed with her harassing her. 🙂
I found this video on YouTube with Bart asking to borrow money from Homer. As soon as he loans Bart the money, he starts asking where his money is. I loved that episode. What I did was add a little text every time Homer asks “Where’s My Money” and I also made the voices faster. This way you can understand how annoying it would be if this happened to you.
I used Wondershare Video Editor and I wish it did not put their logo across my video. It is blocking by texts I added. The text show what is on Homer’s mind all day now that Bart owes him money.
I was standing on the corner of Winslow Arizona playing my guitar minding my business. All of a sudden a man with a cane starts yelling out that I was singing his song and snatched my guitar from me. He said I was not singing the song correctly and hit me on my knee caps and stole my guitar.
This little girl recorded several songs thanks to her brother and five out of the seven songs become platinum. The girl decided to respond to one of the emails and had to overcome her fear of singing in front of people since singing was her passion. At first the little girl was so upset with him, but then she realized he must think she has a nice voice also. Even though what her brother did was sneaky, she knew he did it out of love. Maybe about a week after he posted the video, the little girl’s brother received several emails about his sister producing some songs. He was so excited and told his sister what he did and showed her the emails he received.So the brother decided to make the video of him playing the recording of his sister singing. The mother thought it was a good idea because no one will see her; it will just be her voice. He said he would video tape himself and play the recording after he explains why he recorded her.
Once he got her singing a couple of songs, he went to his mom to tell her what he did and was going to make a video and put it on YouTube. Her brother thought she had a really nice voice also, but would not dear tell her that. Her brother decided to record her singing with his phone without her knowledge. One day the little girl was singing all kinds of songs around the house and she had a younger brother that always teased her and would mock her singing. The little girl told her mother would be too scared to sing in front of anyone and that will never happen. She only sang in her house when she was doing chores or taking a shower. Her mom use to tell her she needs to go on one those competition singing shows. The little girl was 12 years old and had a little brother who was 11 years old. Once upon a time there was a little girl who loved to sing all of the time, but was very shy.
This week was really hard for me, I have been so busy at work and with my other class, I have not been able to get much done, and I realize this week that the assignments are overwhelming and are taking much longer. I have been trying to use my Movie Maker and IMovie, it has not been as easy for me because it seems when I download my movies for Movie Maker, they only play in Realplayer as a video and I Movie is not as simple as they say it is. It has been challenging for me and of course, I am behind because of it. I am trying not to get frustrated, but I hate when you have every scheduled and planned and all of a sudden, you get hit with a curve ball.
I have received some nice comments and a little comments on me not embedded my links, sometimes I still be working on posting them and sometimes I have issues posting them, depending on what software I use. I have not even looked at what is due by Thursday and I am scared to look. I just want to be able to relax, and workout and cook me a nice dinner. Since this class started, I thing I was only able to work out twice and if I do cook, it is something really quick. Well week for has been the most challenging and aggravated week. I am having so many problems with the audio part to this Foley. This is aggravating me and I have not gotten any sleep for almost 2 days trying to get this thing right. L.
Here are my assignments I finally accomplished this week.
Tutorial
I was not able to paste my snapshots, so I have to explain this tutorial just by text and I hope it is clear enough and I did not forget or miss a step.
First you need to find a video and song that want to blend or mashup together. For some reason I was not able to do screen shots so when I originally did this assignment only one snapshot came through and I was not able to really explain the step by step details. So I will try to put it in words as clear as possible.
Second step is to pick a software you want to use for your assignment, I used Audacity for this assignment, but there are other software that can do the same thing as Audacity. As mentioned above, find a video on YouTube and a song you would like to put together. You have visualize what kind of message you want to share or give in your assignment. My message was that when you live with a house full of kids and pets, it can sometimes sound like a whole bunch of voices talking fast that will not take a break or be quiet.
Third, once you find your video, pick a song you a think will blend well with the video you picked. You can go to any cite you desire to get your music from. I got my song from SounCloud and downloaded the song to my computer.
Fourth, once you have your video and song, you have to use software to download to convert your YouTube video to your computer; I use either Faster YouTube Down Loader to MP3 Converter or SaveFrom.net if you are using Wndows and Iskysoft Free Video Downloader if you are using a MacBook.
Fifth, once I downloaded and converted the video, then i uploaded it in Media Player and save it to my computer and then I had to import it from Audacity. Once my video was downloaded, I played around with the sound effects to my desire, I decided to try the echo sound, invert and speed all under the effect tab.
Sixth, once I was comfortable with the video sound I created, then I imported my song and did the same thing with the desired sound I wanted. I just adjusted the speed on the song; it was too slow, so just gave it a little more upbeat sound than what it was originally. Once I have adjusted the song to my desire. Then I just exported both of them and save it to my desired file. Then from Audacity I opened a new assignment and imported the video or you can just copy and paste it in Audacity and under the track of the video you import or copy and paste it Audacity.
Seventh, I just tried to blend or mashup the song and the video my desire and that is my mashup video assignment tutorial. Once I had my desired sound, exported and save it to my computer under my desired file and then I uploaded it to SoundCloud and that was my final step to listen and post it to my blog.
